Charities, Clubs & Associations Insurance
We have many years’ experience which helps us to understand the exposures that are faced by Charities, Clubs and Associations.
Many organisations, in addition to protecting their assets and equipment, would provide protection for the individuals responsible for the managing and administering of a charity, club or association via a trustee indemnity policy which would provide cover for the exposure of the individuals only.
However as the world has progressed, so too has the need for Charities, Clubs & Associations Insurance. The organisations themselves have become more advanced in the way they promote themselves, raise funding, use technology, and have also increased the number of services they provide.
Additionally, the legislation and the exposures faced by charities, clubs and associations have progressed too, bringing with it a variety of new risks that could leave the organisation facing claims that previously had not been perceived.
Lloyd’s is proposing to transfer certain EEA insurance policies to Lloyd’s Brussels. The proposed transfer will not change terms and conditions of any policy, except that Lloyd’s Brussels will become the insurer and Data Controller in respect of the transferred policies.
Further information about the proposal (including whether it could affect your pre-transfer position), which policies are transferring, your rights and what you need to do can be found at www.lloyds.com/brexittransfer
