Life Sciences Specialists
Sam Taylor is a Chartered Insurance Broker who specialises in the technology and life science sector. Throughout his career, Sam has worked with a wide variety of clients, from startups to multinationals and placed cover in over 20 countries worldwide.
Being based in Bristol, he has seen the South West life science and tech sectors go from strength to strength in recent years and has been able to support an array of businesses along their growth journeys. As part of our Technology, Media & Cyber team, Sam is responsible for working with companies, ensuring they understand what risks they face while negotiating with insurers to ensure his clients have an insurance portfolio that best suits their company and is cost-effective.
Outside of work, Sam is a keen music fan, regularly attending gigs and festivals, as well as a Manchester United supporter. Sam has also recently become a first-time father and is enjoying the new journey that having a baby daughter is providing him.
Jerome is an experienced Executive who has over 20 years of industry experience, having previously worked for both insurers and brokers. He draws from this experience and industry relationships to consistently deliver positive outcomes for his clients. Jerome specialises in working with media companies and has worked with a wide variety of firms and seen the industry change within this time. From print media to social media influencers to production companies, Jerome understand the unique risks these trades have and is able to source a wide range of insurance and risk management solutions.
Outside of work, Jerome is an avid golfer, carp angler, Arsenal fan, and proud father.
Chris Forster is an experience Account Director who has over 30 years experience in working within the insurance industry, with the vast majority of that time working with technology and life science companies. Chris specialises in working with life science companies and assisting with complex placements for Clinical Trial insurance and putting together multinational insurance programmes.
Being based in the Midlands, Chris is a proud Brummie and has seen the region grow and develop over the years. He takes particular pride in working with companies also based in the Midlands and has been a key part of developing our relationships with the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Tech West Midlands.
Away from work, Chris is an Aston Villa season ticket holder trying to tailor his work/life balance around the Villa fixture list! He is also a proud father and grandfather and enjoys spending time with his family.
