Sam Taylor secures place on CII’s New Generation Programme

We proudly announce that Sam Taylor ACII BA Hons, an Account Executive in our Jensten Insurance Brokers Technology, Media, and Cyber team, has been awarded a place in this year’s New Generation Programme run by the Chartered Insurance Institute. He now has a chance to help shape the UK’s insurance profession.

The New Generation Programme is the CII’s flagship talent scheme, run annually for leading young professionals in the insurance sector. It aims to further their careers and improve the sector by working on a project and presenting it to the CII Professional Community Boards.

Ian Callaghan, President of the CII Group, said: “The CII’s New Generation Programme is an excellent opportunity for insurance professionals who have ideas and wish to spread their wings and influence the sector. The Programme offers participants invaluable experience, exposure, and mentorship, as well as the chance to network and collaborate with their peers. We look forward keenly to welcoming this year’s cohort, and once again benefit from the perspectives of the rich and diverse talent within our profession.”

Throughout the next year, Sam will attend interactive sessions with key personnel from regulatory bodies and hear talks from Members of Parliament and lobbying organisations in the insurance sector. They will also undergo training on subjects such as leadership and dealing with the media.

About the experience, Sam said “I am excited and honoured to have been invited to take part in the programme by the CII. Being a part of this programme has been a key goal of mine in recent years and I look forward to embracing the opportunity. With the work I carry out in the Technology, Media and Cyber team, I look forward to using my experience to discuss key current affairs in our sector with the leaders in the insurance industry as this is a key sector for both Jensten Insurance Broker and for the UK Economy”.

Kris Barnfather, Head of Technology, Media and Cyber said “With only 40 spaces available and only 10 spots for brokers, for Sam to achieve this is a testament to the hard work he has undertaken throughout his career, both in his work with his clients and with his studies in recently achieving Chartered Status”.

Good luck from everyone at Jensten Sam.
