TIB acquires specialty broking business, Numark Insurance Services.

Tasker Insurance Brokers (TIB’s) continues to grow and develop their specialist risks division with the acquisition of Numark Insurance Services (NIS), a division of BGP. The Pharmacy affinity relationship with Numark, the largest membership organisation for independent pharmacies in the UK, a division of Phoenix Healthcare Distribution Ltd, the largest Pharmaceutical supplier in Europe, further strengthen TIB’s retail proposition in specialist affinity areas.

The Gloucester based team, led by Ian Smith, will form part of the specialist retail broking division within the broader retail business.

This division, which provides bespoke insurance and risk management solutions for pharmacy businesses, adds further depth to TIB’s specialist broking division which already includes Professions (Tasker Professional Risks),  Medical and Healthcare Professions (via the Enhance brand), Tour Operators, Travel Agents (Travel Risk Professionals) and Technology and Life Sciences (Tasker Technology Risks). The acquisition also extends TIB’s footprint into the West, already having hubs in the South, North West, East, Midlands, South East and at TIB’s head office in London.
